MRT Red Line eastern extension (Guangci/Fengtian Temple station): Target opening end-August 2026 (Jul 23 Taiwan News). No confirmed opening announcement as of Aug 17. The extension failed a fire inspection in June 2026; reopened for inspection track. If delayed past Oct 31, it will not be available for the Nov 2–6 window. Verify status via DORTS (metro.taipei) before departure.
Airport MRT: NT$160 one-way Taipei Main Station (35 min from T1 / 38 min from T2).
